Tolerance !!! Devestation of a Nation

" Lord; Help me to be, to think, to act what is right because it is right; Make me truthful, honest, and honerable in all things; Make me intellectually honest for the sake of right and honor and without thoughtof reward to me."

From the Truman libary. This Robert E. Lee prayer was memorized by Harry Truman, and used throughout his life.

Let us get something out of the way:

From: the New American Standard;

Mathew 5:17,18
17:"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill
18:"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law untill all is accomplished."

With these words of Jesus; I may now put down words from MALACHI 3:8,9,10 (Old Testement) and mabe just mabe there will be those who under stand that they mean just as much now as they did when they were written. So here goes.

3:8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, "How have we robbed You?" In tithes and offerings.
9:You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you!
10:"Bring in the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," Says the Lord of Hosts, "if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing untill it overflows.

That being said; the reason for that at this time, is that this blog was reviewed (A good review as well). After reading the review , I went to the writers blog and read a scathing report on tithings and offerings. I would hope that this helps clear that up for any who question tithing.

And I must also add that when you do tithe it had better be to a church that preaches the true salvation (baptism for the remission of sins) as written in ACTS 2:38. Because anything else is false!

Untill next time good by, and when I return I'll give a report on the book (The Light and the Glory, Written by Peter Marshal and David Manuel) So far it is very very good and I would recomend it to any who would like a bit of TRUE American history. Untill then.

Here is something that I thought needed to be here from The Light and the Glory:

One of the strangest and most revered of American traits: Independance, the pioneer, carving out a homestead of his or her own family -- that image occupies a favord place in our cultural heritage. It carries on into the presnt time, with the glorification of the loner, the easy rider, and the rebel. The media extol that type of hero, the older generation relives youthful illusions through the model, and their children believe in it and leave home to try and be king of the road themselves -- often discovering too late that the dream is a nightmare.
It is a nightmare because God did not intend people to live alone. He intended men and women, and especially His children who are called by the name of His Son, to live as a body, to help and support one another. And God does His work nuturing Christians primarily through other Christians. Indeed, the process of maturation ( which the Bible calls sanctification ) cannot be accomplished alone.
A number of the earliest Americans forgot this, as did even more of their sons and daughters. They still went to church, but their minds were often back on the spread or the plantation.

Ferrar Fenton:
Jeremiah 8:5,6

5: Then why was this people of JerUSAlem gone away with a perpetual departure? Why do they persist in deserition and refuse to return?
6: I attended and listened. However none spoke. No man sighed over his wickedness, or said,'Why did I do it?' They all stuck to their course like horses whipped to the battle!

Something to jar the thought process! (Mabe??)
